Estate Planning Process1

  1. Fact-Finding Session Your journey begins with a no-obligation meeting with a financial planner. Together, you’ll discuss your goals and gather essential information about your income, taxes, retirement accounts, property, liabilities, and more. An estate planning attorney will then review your details to ensure every aspect is considered.
  2. Legal Analysis and Review Following a detailed review, your attorney will craft a tailored action plan to protect your assets and optimize your resources. This plan may include updates to wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, guardianships, trusts, and long-term care strategies. All services are transparent, with flat fees, and a team member from Bluestone Wealth & Trust will support your investment and planning needs.
  3. Follow-Up You can choose to work directly with an attorney or continue with additional consultations to refine your estate plan, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your wishes.
  4. Survivorship Benefits As an engaged participant in your planning, we remain a valuable resource for your loved ones, providing guidance and support during the estate transition process after your passing.

Estate Settlement2

Settling an estate after someone has passed on is a complicated process, especially when you are also grieving. Bluestone Wealth & Trust provides exceptional estate settlement services, through a dedicated Personal Representative who will perform the required administrative steps with care, sensitivity and professionalism.

A member of our team will review the estate documents, including wills, burial plans, trusts, mortgages and other information concerning assets and liabilities. A detailed estate conference will be held to go over the estate with all impacted parties. We, as your Personal Representative or agent, will handle all the outstanding debts, tax filings, probate forms, etc., and provide final distributions to all necessary parties. When all the estate payments and documentation are completed, we will close the deceased’s file and inform you the estate has been settled.
