Bluestone Bank Welcomes New Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer

July 1, 2025: Bluestone Bank is excited to announce a new hire: Sara Hiebner, Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Sara joins the Bluestone team with over 26 years of experience in the Commercial Banking industry. In aggregate, she has provided more than $400 million in financing.

Sara joins a team of experienced commercial lenders at Bluestone Bank. Her background and knowledge strongly align with the lending team’s history of providing responsible, relevant, and secure financial solutions to the Southern New England region for over 150 years.

Sara will be responsible for managing customer loan relationships, including all related products and services provided to them, in her new role at Bluestone Bank. Her areas of expertise are Rhode Island and the south coast of Massachusetts.
