August 9, 2021: Bluestone Bank is excited to welcome Shawn McDonough as Vice President, Director of Corporate Services.
McDonough joins the Bank with over 25 years of experience in facilities and project management. In addition to his facilities and project management role at Bluestone, Shawn will oversee bank security, purchasing and records management. After attending training courses through the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), he started his career working in plumbing and heating before transitioning to facilities several years later.
“Shawn’s extensive knowledge and understanding of Facilities and over-seeing projects will be vital as Bluestone Bank continues to grow,” said Peter Dello Russo, CEO of Bluestone Bank.
The former President of Mashpee Youth Soccer, McDonough coached both of his children’s teams for 13 years. Additionally, he was instrumental in the creation of the Pop Warner Football League in Mashpee and has experience coaching softball, little league, and Babe Ruth baseball.
With two rescue dogs, McDonough is a passionate animal-lover. He volunteers at Isla Animal, an organization in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, visiting the island annually to walk dogs and assist with transportation. A fan of travel, McDonough tries to visit one new location every year. When not on the road, he resides in Plymouth with his wife and two dogs.
